Why? The first question is always why.
Why did I create this web page? Well, it's a kind of interesting story so let me share it with you.
One Saturday not too long ago I had the TV on in the background as I was playing with my laptop. Knowing me I was probably surfing ebay. Anyway this movie came on called "The Beast of Bray Road". Terrible C movie if C is a proper rating for a bad B movie. Plot, special effects, acting, all bad. So I wasn't really following the movie too closely until the character Kelly (the bartender) entered into the plot. I remember thinking, "hey wait, that bartender actually knows how to act". So there I am, surfing the internet, barely watching the movie, and suddenly a "real" actor/actress appears. And trust me on this one she was/is GOOD, no GREAT!! In spite of all the other flaws with the movie I hung in there and watched it until it's conclusion because I was enjoying the contrast between Sarah (who could give Julia Roberts a run for her acting money) and the rest of the cast (most of whom I would guess were last seen as extras on a 1990's Saved By The Bell episode). At some point during the movie I went to us.imdb.com and looked up the movie and found out that the role of Kelly the bartender was played by Sarah Lieving. In reviewing her bio on imdb.com I was surprised to see that she had not done more big budget/mainstream type movies. Honestly, she can act!! She has the "IT" that they are always talking about. Given that this movie was several years old I really expected to find out that Sarah was already half way to having her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Mark my words, one day she will have that star!! Anyway while on imdb.com I found a link to her official web site (www.sarahlieving.com). I surfed around her site for a while but really didn't find any information about what she's been working on lately nor did I find any big budget movies so I decided to send Sarah an email (her email address was on the site) to let her know how much I appreciated her performance in "The Beast of Bray Road" and to find out if there was any place on the internet where I could get more current information about her career. I kind of expected to maybe get some kind of form letter response from her secretary or a fan club president or something like that. Instead, less than 24 hours later, I got a personal email from Sarah thanking me for my email and giving me a quick update of her most recent projects. How COOL is that?!?! I was floored. Literally floored. Heck, in the next year or two when Sarah BLOWS UP, I'm going to frame that email. Note that I said "when" not "if". You can bank on it. Sarah Lieving WILL become a MONSTER HOLLYWOOOD STAR (and I mean monster in a good way, not monster as in Beast of Bray Road)!!
