Joy has been dancing since she was five years old. She began her studies at Weaver's Dance School in Kalamazoo and continues to study dance at Western Michigan University. Joy teaches dance to all age groups at Kalamazoo School of Music and Dance, and Portage Community Education. She is also a fitness instructor, teaching aerobics, Pilates, yoga and sculpting classes. Joe is married to Joel Rakowski and lives in Kalamazoo with her husband and five cats.
