Palma High School - 1978-79

Lost and Found

In 1979 I lived in Ft. Ord, California and was a senior at Palma High School in Salinas, California. It was a private all-boy school associated with Notre Dame High School, a private all-girl school. A couple weeks after high school graduation I moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan and have basically lived in Kazoo ever since. It has now been 25+ years and I would like to try to find some of my high school friends. Please take a look at the names and pictures below and let me know if you can help. Thanks!

You can click on the names below to see a larger version of their picture.

And finally let me offer the picture below in memory of Mark Tomacello, formerly of Gilroy, California. Mark has left for the big hoop game in the sky, but as my friend at Palma High School in 1979 and the guy who I had to D up in practice every day, let me just say that his free spirit and enthusiasm for life made me a better person just for having known him. I often think about Mark and wish I could get just one more chance to play him one-on-one. Dang, I never could beat him. He was a true old school baller with mad game. I miss you Marcus Anthony "Tyrone" Tomacello! You was da man!

PS - Hey Mark, thanks also for the nickname "E.L.", which stood for East Lansing, which was the only city in Michigan Mark knew, and which also happened to be the hometown of one Ervin "Magic" Johnson of MSU and 1979 NCAA championship fame.
